Ahead of this week All Progressive Congress' National Executive Meeting in Abuja, Leaders of the party are already making moves to manage if not end the internal conflict within the party. Top of the list is the accusation of the National Party chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun by the national leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu of thwarting the effort of the party for selfish reasons. It would be recalled that the National leader had written a letter in that regards to the party. The letter which has generated a heated controversy in the party with some members believing the said allegation against the chairman and suggesting passing a vote of no confidence on the chairman amidst several other issues like the battling for supremacy in some of the state chapter of the party while some believe the letter was just to seek for attention by the former Lagos state governor.
With the party convention coming up in some months, some members have called for managing the crisis till when the convention will come up and new executives will be determined.
The outcome of tomorrow's meeting will go a long way in determining if the party will retain her power at the Federal level 2019.
