T.A Croatia forward Nikola Kalinic has been sent home from the world cup after refusing to come on as a substitute against Nigeria. The Croat who was probably angry for being kept on the bench refused to come on after Coach Zlatko Dalić had asked him to. The 30 year old who is presently on loan to FlorentinaO from Milan was asked to leave by the coach for his act. Although he claimed he didn’t come on because of back issues after he had warmed up on the side line. The coach also claimed that wasn’t the first time the player is given such excuse in recent times.
With the expulsion, Croatia is left with only one natural Number 9 in Mario Manduzkic, and they face Argentina in their next game on Thursday before facing Iceland in their -" in Group D
