TEMITOPE ADEBIYI Tony Iwobi who has just been elected into the Italian Senate has granted Il Giornale an interview where he supported cracking down of immigration. "You can not open the doors to everyone. There are boundaries and boundaries must be respected," Mr Iwobi had told the newspaper. Mr Tony Iwobi who himself is a migrant went further to say "I come from Nigeria and I know how things are, only 10% of those who disembark in Italy [are fleeing] war. The others, all the others, the vast majority, no." The senator has however come under stiff criticism for his interview. Most notable of the critic is former Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli. The striker who is from African descent is sure not happy with the Senator. Read the Italian striker's remark here.
