The court of Appeal sitting in Akure has earlier today refused Pdp's application to stop the Arakun Rotimi Akeredolu's led government from conducting a Local government election in the state. The court in her judgment dismissed the order after agreeing with Charles Titiloye the counsel to Ondo state Independent Electoral commission. PDP however was given the chance to appeal the Federal High court's decision to dissolve the Local Government executives within seven days starting from the date of the ruling
It would be recalled that the state governor had earlier approved the constitution of ODIEC headed by Prof. Yomi Dinakin. The Seven man commission is expected to start work in preparation for the Local government election after the Court of Appeal's ruling.
