A man named Kehinde Adeleke was on Februrary 26, 2018 shot dead by a bar owner in Ibadan, Oyo State. His brother Taiwo Adeleke who reported the event said, the tragic occurrence started when Kehinde sent Damola Adeleke their younger brother on an errand. On Damola's return, an argument ensued between him and some other guys over parking space. Kehinde was sent for that his brother is being beaten. On his arrival, while trying to make peace, Seyi popularly known as Father Luski the owner of the bar came with men of operation burst constituted by the present governor of Oyo state and pointed to Damola as a trouble maker which made one of the men of the operation Burst to hit Damola with a stick. This prompted Kehinde to question Father Luski's action of jumping to conclusions. This resulted into another argument before Father Luski became angry and collected a riffle from one of the men of the operation burst and shot Kehinde on the neck.
Taiwo claimed to have held down Father Luski and dragged him into his car with some couple of friends. The other men of the operation burst had to lock the Trans' gate for that is the name of the bar and prevented the car that had Father Luski and Kehinde in it to leave for 20 minutes. Father Luski was finally let go forcefully when the driver called Tope was also threatened.
Immediately they got to UCH, Kehinde was rejected and immediately, he was taken to Eleyele Hospital Ibadan
where the doctors confirmed that he was still alive but they don't have the surgical equipments to perform an operation on him and as a result, they suggested another hospital to them. It was at that Hospital called Molly hospital that he was finally confirmed dead.
