Nigerian-British born Eni Aluko has just signed for Italian league side; Juventus. The 31-year-old former Chelsea player wrote on her Twitter that she is delighted and honored to join the juventus women team shortly after the Club website had officially announced her signing. Lagos horn Eniola scored 33 goals in 102 England appearances for the England national team from 2004–2016 and competed at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China, 2009 UEFA Women's Euro, 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany, 2013 UEFA Women's Euro, and 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, she represented Great Britain as well as helping Chelsea to win their recent league and cup double was unveiled yesterday in Italy.
Aluko who had previously played for two English teams; Birmingham and Charlton, as well as other clubs in the US, will be a good instrument for the Italian women football club in their quest to retain their league title. .
Eniola, who had sometimes last year accused former England manager Mark Sampson for racially abusing her three years back which finally led to Sampson’s sack is the elder sister of Nigeria striker Sone Aluko.
