A non-governmental empowerment initiative concerned with nurturing budding talents in the music world has thrown open a great opportunity for young talents between ages of 19 and 24, who are preparing for senior school certificate examinations across the country to learn and be taught the act of music and it's rudiments. Speaking with Ataaoja, the brain behind the initiative and the leader of the popular Gospel band, Bois Olorun, Mr Feranmi Biala said this was born out of his desire to help in taking away young children roaming the streets off it and giving their lives a meaning.
NuBreed Initiative began about two years ago and have had several successes in the past. The group has decided to take it a notch higher by increasing the numbers of attendees to 50, who will go through music class and also be prepared for SSCE, all for free.
Mr. Biala said the next phase will begin with an audition which will hold on Ibadan on Tuesday, 1st of May at Sparrows Studio, Sangoarea. Interested and qualified persons only have to send their names, gender, date of birth and residential address to +2348032426278 in SMS format.
This, of course, is an exciting time for young people who want to fly in their musical pursuit while still excelling in their academics.
