Dear Mr. Chairman,
“I trust that this letter finds you in good health, happy mode and may that never change in your life. I also hope that you are in an apt frame of mind to read this letter according to the spirit in which it is written and to derive apt counsel from it.
"So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy". Let me say Congratulations to you Sir on your third renewal appointment as a Caretaker Chairman, Ondo-West Local Government Area.
I believe you will not mind my scant courtesy. It is due to the sense of urgency with which I am writing this letter. I urge you to deeply reflect on my open letter in good faith and see it as a genuine expression of my concern irrespective of my standing as a party member who daily yearns for a better change of our Local, State and Nation Government.
However, my letter does not detract from the very high regards that many party members may have for you and that's is not to say that there are not many oppositions party who are pathologically opposed to your person and will therefore not see anything good in your policies and actions in office.
While one may ignore this category of naysayers, but there is this other category you must not ignore. They are those who mean well for the Citizens and are supportive of our party members cross across all wards and all groups but feel disappointed with the recent turn of events in your government with particular regard to your group self-centered government making that may mar next coming election if care is not taking.
Sir, we have to adopt the principle and philosophy of collective sacrifices no matter the personal cost and pains to individuals in leadership positions for the sake of coming council election and others election at hand and for the sake that it's only your name Hon. Akinsulire that will remain forever after government that should be always protected without mind who horse is gore.
Mr. Chairman Sir, if you want to leave a credible legacy come next your Government, in all sincerity, please retool your administration policies. Change is desirable, but it must be a change for the better. Let this change be real. Change is not real when old things that we ought to discard refuse to pass away. Let party members cross across all groups feel your impact in their life.
Sir, You will need to take a critical look at your cabinets, the policies and programmes of your administration, and at those who help you to formulate and execute them. You will need to take a critical look at the manner of your supervisors controlling your government, never allow any of your supervisors to do things without your consent, because it was a state of flabbergasted when i heard that many of those slots that suppose to be given to party members is giving to the opposition party members.
Sir, be in a best positions to unites all leaders, have a time to have meeting with party Local govt. Excos and carry all wards Chairmen along for better government. Do little, let the party members say mush......
Mr. Chairman Sir, I have so much to write on, but I will leave the rest for another day. There is no reason for you to go on a personal vendetta against anyone and also warn all your supporters to give way to peace, no room for threaten and violence, everyone is important in politics. "No permanent friends, neither permanent enemy, but permanent INTEREST". Let the past be forgone. Ondo will stand, others won't fall.
Hon. Akinbi K.R.
Ward 1 Sec. APC Ondo-West
