The president of PAOK Salonika a Greek Super League side has had the league suspended after he invaded the pitch with a gun after his side's late goal was ruled offside against AEK Athens. The match which was to be officially abandoned after AEK players left the pitch for their safety.
The Deputy sports minister who condemned the action of Ivan Savvidis later announced the suspension of the league has called for all stakeholders to come to an agreement on developing the league and having a "A clear framework". You can watch the video here.
The local police have reportedly issued a warrant of arrest for Savvidis. His intention after trying to lash at the referee before being held back is unknown but an interpreter confirmed he said "You are finished as a referee".
